About This Style
Comic Sans was created by Vincent Connare in 1994 for Microsoft Bob, a software product aimed at beginners. Connare designed the letters to look like comic book speech bubble lettering — irregular, slightly bouncy, and deliberately informal. It became one of the most widely installed (and ridiculed) typefaces in computing history.
This generator produces text that resembles Comic Sans using Unicode characters, primarily the script set (𝒶𝒷𝒸𝒹). Script characters share Comic Sans's irregular, hand-drawn quality — they are not perfectly geometric, which gives them that casual, approachable feel. The small caps set (ᴀʙᴄᴅ) provides a condensed uppercase variant that echoes the all-caps comic lettering tradition Comic Sans was originally designed for.
The output will not fool a designer, but for casual social media bios, playful announcements, or nostalgia-driven content, it captures the informal spirit of the original.
How to Use
Type your text and try the script style for the most Comic Sans-like feel, or small caps for the comic-book uppercase tradition. Copy and paste your playful text into a bio, post, or casual announcement.
