About this generator

What is the Arabic Font Generator?

Arabic letters change shape according to their neighbors, so a useful font preview must preserve connected text and right-to-left layout. This workspace draws complete lines using the browser shaping engine. Amiri provides a Naskh book direction, Cairo a modern geometric option, Lateef a flowing calligraphic style and Reem Kufi a display alternative.

Enter Arabic directly, including any diacritics you want to keep. The input can also contain Latin text and numbers. The preview defaults to right alignment; changing alignment moves the text block without reversing the characters. There is no per-letter spacing or per-letter color effect that would break joining.

Download PNG to preserve the rendered appearance. Copying plain Arabic characters lets the receiving app choose its own font. This tool does not translate English, invent Arabic names or produce hand-composed calligraphy beyond the selected typeface.

Does this preserve Arabic joining and diacritics?

Yes. Complete lines are rendered with the browser text engine and a right-to-left base direction. Original characters and diacritics are retained; inspect mixed-language text in the preview before export.

Will copying text preserve the typeface?

No. Copying keeps the original Unicode characters. Download the PNG to preserve the chosen typeface, color and layout.

Is the artwork free, and is my text uploaded?

Rendering and PNG export run in your browser without sign-in, payment or a watermark. Fonts are hosted by this site and loaded as needed. Your text is not sent to a font or generation service.

What happens when a font does not cover a character?

The browser may use a device fallback for unsupported characters. Check the coverage label and preview. If a font fails to load, export stays disabled until it loads successfully.
