About this generator
What is the Chinese Font Generator?
Chinese font generation on this page means rendering the Chinese characters you supply in real typefaces. Ma Shan Zheng and Zhi Mang Xing offer brush and handwriting directions, Noto Sans SC supplies modern Simplified Chinese lettering, and Noto Serif TC provides a Traditional Chinese serif direction. The tool does not replace English letters with unrelated Han characters.
Use a name or short phrase to compare the strokes, then choose a banner or square canvas, alignment, size and color. PNG export preserves the chosen appearance. Font coverage labels help you select a family, but characters outside that font may use a device fallback; inspect the finished preview, especially for uncommon names.
Selecting a Simplified or Traditional font does not convert your wording. This version provides horizontal layout with manual line breaks. It does not translate names, perform SimplifiedโTraditional conversion or generate a personal font file.

Frequently asked questions
Will choosing a Traditional font convert Simplified Chinese?
No. A typeface changes letter shapes, not the underlying characters. Supply the exact spelling and character forms you want to render.
Will copying text preserve the typeface?
No. Copying keeps the original Unicode characters. Download the PNG to preserve the chosen typeface, color and layout.
Is the artwork free, and is my text uploaded?
Rendering and PNG export run in your browser without sign-in, payment or a watermark. Fonts are hosted by this site and loaded as needed. Your text is not sent to a font or generation service.
What happens when a font does not cover a character?
The browser may use a device fallback for unsupported characters. Check the coverage label and preview. If a font fails to load, export stays disabled until it loads successfully.
