What are copy and paste symbols?
Copy and paste symbols are text characters you can use alongside ordinary letters: a heart after a name, an arrow between steps, or stars in a rating. This library brings 261 symbol sequences together so you can browse their shapes without remembering keyboard shortcuts or character codes.
The copied result is plain text. It can go into a caption, message, document or profile field that accepts the characters. Its appearance comes from the destination font or emoji artwork, so the same symbol can look different between apps. Choosing a symbol here does not install a font.
How to copy and use symbols
Find a symbol
Browse the grid, choose a category, or search for a name, character or code point such as U+2605. Use the collection tabs for hearts, stars and arrows.
Click to copy
Click the symbol card and wait for Copied. Paste into your destination with its Paste command. If automatic copying is unavailable, select the manual-copy text shown on the card.
Combine or save
Use + Add to build a line with several symbols and your own words. Copy the finished combination, or use the heart button to save a favorite in this browser.
A symbol library, ready to use
Choose a category or search for a name such as “white heart”, “rightwards arrow” or a code point such as U+2605. Tap a card to copy the exact characters. Add several items to your combination, reorder them, and edit the final text before copying.
Text symbols and emoji are different
A text symbol usually takes its shape and color from the surrounding font. Emoji may appear in color and vary between devices. A variation selector can request a presentation, but a destination app or font may still display it differently. We keep those sequences intact when copying.
Make decoration easy to read
Use short accents around a name or heading instead of replacing every word. Symbols may be read aloud by screen readers, and some services restrict them in usernames. Keep an ordinary-text version of important information.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to download a font to use these symbols?
No. Copying places Unicode text on your clipboard. The app where you paste supplies the font. If that font lacks a character, it may display a box even though the copied text is correct.
What is the difference between a symbol and an emoji?
Many text symbols follow the surrounding font and text color. Emoji often use colorful artwork supplied by the device. Some characters support both presentations; the library keeps their different sequences separate.
Can I use symbols in a username or bio?
You can try pasting them into the field, but each service sets its own rules. A service may remove a symbol, count it differently toward a limit, or refuse it in a username while allowing it in a message.
How do I copy several symbols at once?
Click + Add on each card. The bottom editor lets you add words and copy the whole line. Open Arrange pieces & spacing to reorder items or choose spaces, no separator, or new lines.
Where are my favorite symbols saved?
Favorite and recent item IDs are stored in this browser when local storage is available. They do not sync between devices. Clear saved items removes both lists across the collections; clearing browser data can also remove them.
