What is the San Francisco Font?

SF Pro is the primary sans-serif member of Apple's San Francisco system font family for Apple platforms. It is designed for clear interface typography across many sizes and screen densities. This generator requests the Apple system font stack; it does not host or distribute Apple font files.

SF Display

A display-oriented direction for larger headlines, hero text, and product messaging where letterforms have more room.

SF Text

A text-oriented direction for labels, notifications, controls, and smaller interface copy where clarity is the priority.

Modern Apple system fonts can apply optical sizing automatically. These two controls remain useful for comparing familiar display and text design directions in mockups.

San Francisco Font Weights

The comparison tool requests nine CSS weights from Thin 100 through Black 900. A browser or fallback font may map an unavailable weight to its nearest installed face, so the result can differ by device. Selecting a card applies that requested weight to the artwork preview and all exports.

Does this San Francisco Font Generator use a real rendered font?

Yes. It uses the named font when that font is installed on your device and reports when a labelled fallback is being rendered. It does not replace letters with mathematical Unicode alphabets.

Why might the font look different on another device?

Commercial and system fonts are not installed everywhere. PNG preserves what this browser rendered; editable SVG text can fall back to a different font on another device.

Can I use the downloaded design commercially?

The generator does not grant rights to trademarks or commercial fonts. Check the chosen font and brand usage rights for the final project, particularly for merchandise, advertising, and logos.
